Rules, Rewards, Consequences, and Grading
5 RULES of SPECIALISTS:
1 = Follow directions quickly
2 = Raise your hand for permission to speak
3 = Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat
4 = Make smart choices
5 = Keep your dear teacher happy

BEHAVIOR RUBRIC:
4 = I did what was expected of me & more, that's why my work is a Level 4.
3 = I did what was asked of me, that's why my work is a Level 3.
2 = I did some of what I had to do, that's why my work is a Level 2.
1 = I didn't do what had to be done, that's why my work is a Level 1.

PARTICIPATION RUBRIC:
4 = I can do it without mistakes.  I can help others.
3 = I can do it by myself.  I make little mistakes.
2 = Sometimes I need help.  I am starting to understand.
1 = I can't do it by myself.  I don't understand yet.

REWARDS:
Stickers & Prizes
Meerkat Tickets
Star of the Month Award (student who earns the most Rubric points in class)
Free Day (students choose stations for learning/play, as well as the amount of time spent at the stations of choice) 

CONSEQUENCES:
Non-Verbal Signal (sign language for stop, pay attention, sit, etc.)
Verbal Reminder of Rules
Take A Break Chair
Buddy Teacher
Office Referral
Loss of Free Day Time (5 minutes for every Level 1 beyond the first)
